A group of us went to see the central kitchen at Ashaya Patra Foundation to see how they feed 150,000 children from the slums of Bangalore. This is the NGO we raised funds for last Christmas. We did an online and a live auction. Altogether, Cisco in India raised enough to feed over 30,000 children for one year!! We had to wear these very unfashionable hats when we went for the kitchen tour. It was a very impressive operation from the huge pots used to steam the rice, make the soup and chop the vegetables!!
